Zaheer
attended
Bombay
Scottish
school
—
which
has
star
alumni
like
John
Abraham,
Hrithik
Roshan,
Ekta
Kapoor
and
Ranbir
Kapoor
—
and
hails
from
a
non-filmi
background.

Zaheer’s
sister
Sanam
Ratansi
is
a
well-known
Bollywood
celebrity
stylist
while
his
father
is
into
construction
and
also
has
a
jewellery
business.

Salman
Khan
shares
a
close
bond
with
Zaheer’s
father,
Iqbal
Ratansi,
and
helped
launch
Zaheer’s
movie
career.
Zaheer
worked
as
an
assistant
director
in
Salman’s
2014
film,

Jai
Ho,
before
he
made
his
acting
debut.
